Wanderlust Creamery Pops Up in Venice; Pressed Juicery Giveaway in Canoga Park; More!
We round up the week’s coolest events so you don’t have to.

VENICE —With flavors like Sticky Rice + Mango and Pretzel + Rugbraou, travel-inspired ice cream company Wanderlust Creamery is seriously tempting our sweet tooth. Luckily, we can grab a scoop this Saturday while we get our shopping on—all for a good cause! Planet Blue (2940 Main Street) has teamed up with the tasty treatmakers (as well as Vita Coco) for an in-store event from 11am-3pm. The aforementioned flavors—along with Honey Lavender and Butterscotch Sage + Rosemary—will be available for purchase with 20% of scoop sales (ditto for the boutique) going to the Good Shepherd Shelter , which aids victims of domestic violence.

EAST HOLLYWOOD —Bigger isn’t always better, as East Hollywood gallery The Lodge (1024 N Western Avenue) explores in their latest exhibition. “The Mini Show” is composed of a 10:1 scale model of the space, complete with miniaturized works of art by renowned LA artists like Ed Ruscha, Miranda July, and Konstantin Kakanias. The concept allows viewers to explore both the gallery setting as well as specific pieces on a truly intimate level. This show, which was curated by Clare Crespo and Alice Lodge, will open with a reception Saturday night from 4-7pm and will be on display through October 24th.

CANOGA PARK —We’ve been keeping you up to date on all the offerings on Westfield Topanga’s new addition, The Village (6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard), and this weekend the shopping center is giving you yet another reason to head over! An outpost from Pressed Juicery arrives Saturday and will be celebrating by offering guests a free full-size (16 oz) bottle of cold-pressed juice between the hours of 11am-3pm. Additionally, the first 50 to arrive will score a $25 gift card for the next time you’re craving their irresistible vanilla almond milk or detoxifying green blends.

WEST HOLLYWOOD — NARS Cosmetics’ awaited Steven Klein Holiday Collection will finally make an appearance at the brand’s flagship boutique (8412 Melrose Avenue) this Saturday. Edgy fashion photographer Klein has designed a bold limited edition collection that will not disappoint his fans (think white eyeshadow and purple, vinyl-finish lip gloss) and guests that pop in for the launch between 2-4pm will also get the bonus of meeting NARS Founder and Creative Director Francois Nars. In anticipation of a packed house, the shop is asking attendees to RSVP to narsmelrose@narscosmetics.com.
