Vintage Sexist Ads Show How Much We’ve Progressed
After dietary supplement Protein World’s controversial ad garnered international criticism for asking women if they were beach body ready, many have debated whether the progressive world still had room for ads which poked fun at women.

In light of this, Business Insider has compiled a history of advertisements from yesteryears when ads could be outrightly sexist.

Some of the ads featured are from major brands, and one ad even superimposed a woman’s head onto a tiger rug.
