Who is to say that only one type of women gets to have all the fun?
At New York Fashion Week, Rihanna had a spectacular lineup of models flaunting their beautifully diverse bodies as they donned wear from the Savage x Fenty lingerie line.
While it’s prevalent to see people of various shapes, sizes and skin color in fashion these days, the brand broke physical boundaries by hiring two pregnant models to walk the runway.
The first woman was 22-year-old Fenty personality Slick Woods, who put on a provocative strappy one-piece with black pasties, and was in no way shying away from having her belly seen.
The other was a dancer in a plunging, sheer one-piece, defying misconceptions about what a pregnant person might be able to achieve.
The fashion show also saw models showing off their cellulite, body rolls, as well as diverse skin tones to prove that sexiness doesn’t come in one flavor. Brands like Victoria’s Secret might have to up their game.
