Leica Introduces the M-P “Panda Edition”
Storied camera maker Leica has introduced a special pack just for those in China. The aptly named “Panda Edition” features two different sets — a Leica Summicron-M 28mm f / 2 ASPH lens or Leica Summilux-M 35mm f / 1.4 ASPH lens, and the packs are limited to 30. The black body is highlighted by white and pays homage to the panda, and is etched with the words “ChengDu, China” on its back. Technically, the rangefinder also uses a special combination of black and white design. The signature Leica red dot is also rendered in black.

If you’re looking to own one of these coveted sets, they will set you back between $110,000 – $120,000 HKD (approximately $14,000 USD to $15,000 USD). They are only available at Leica stores in Hong Kong, China and Macau.
