Charelle by Sela Holkeson for C-Heads | C-Heads Magazine

“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring”. Behind every shoot there’s a concept, and Amsterdam based photographer Sela Holkeson never takes a photo just to show the clothes. At the first place his work must tell a photographic story, where the clothes are just processed in the shoot. Sela says: “I shoot on film. I love it. I feel it. I eat with my eyes. I love to work on strange and special locations. Femininity is one of the main things in my shoots. It must be sexy, but not that obvious. There must me something kept for the imagination.” Wonderful. Enjoy his new stunning C-Heads Exclusive called “lovenest” starring breathtaking beauty Charelle of Wilhelminamodels L.A. “I called this shoot “lovenest” because of that 70ties text on the cork wall. I loved to play with all variations of styles and looks of Charelle. The pictures always made by the model and the photographer, not by the camera itself.” Hair done by Tommyhagen, make-up / hair by Erika Nuijten (both Angeliquehoornagency) and styling by Mr Vintage and Sela
