Refactoring UI’ might be two episodes in, but the YouTube series that was initiated about three weeks ago seems to be garnering positive responses from the creative community.

Spearheaded by UI designer and YouTuber Steve Schoger, ‘Refactoring UI’ is all about turning around websites submitted by developers using the digital design toolkit Sketch, whilst teaching you vital UI design concepts and tips in each tutorial.

Its second episode, where Schoger redesigns the ‘About’ page on website Bad About, rose to the top of the ‘r/ArtisanVideos’ subreddit recently.

“Reading that title I would’ve bet money I wasn’t gonna watch the whole thing. But 14 and a half minutes later here we are,” commented Redditor ‘harrydickinson’. User ‘HeadStove’ added, “It was fun. The whole time I was thinking ‘okay, that looks pretty good…’ and then ‘huh, that’s actually better.’”
