Phillips New York Auction Features Andy Warhol, Basquiat & More
Premier British auction house Phillips is set to launch its first 20th Century Contemporary Art sale for its New York branch tomorrow. The auction will spotlight both emerging and established artists such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, George Condo, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, KAWS, Damien Hirst, Julian Schnabel, and more.

Noteworthy lots include Condo’s Nude Homeless Drinker painting (65 x 72 in.) with an estimated sale of $500,000-$700,000 USD, Kusama’s Fallen Blossoms painting for $98,000-$150,000 USD, KAWS’ Accomplice Companion (305 x 121 x 63 cm) for  $370,000-$612,000 USD as well as Andy Warhol’s signed Keith Haring Polaroid photograph (4 x 4 in.) for $12,000-$18,000 USD.
