US President Donald Trump’s words are a ticking time bomb, suggests Jim Carrey. The actor and activist has been forthright about his sentiments on the current political state, illustrating them in macaber caricatures of POTUS.

Carrey’s latest artwork isn’t so much cheeky as it is alarming.

He has illustrated a bomb in the mouth of the Trump, insinuating that the president is partly responsible for the recent bomb scare that saw explosive devices being mailed to Democrats on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Among those who received the threatening packages were Hillary Clinton, former president Barack Obama, as well as the New York headquarters of CNN.

The actor captioned his illustration, “Make no mistake, these terrorists were encouraged and emboldened by the hate speech of Donald Trump. If you can’t see the clear menace of this man’s influence by now then you are a part of it.”
