Space agency NASA is teaming up with Vans for a sneakers collection called ‘Voyager’ that might excite streetwear enthusiasts.
The collaboration was initially announced in April, but the duo has been pretty tightlipped about their collection. It will feature Vans’ ‘Old Skool’ and ‘Sk8-Hi MTE’ models in various colors. The ‘Old Skool’ model will carry red, white and blue shades, while the ‘Sk8-Hi MTE’ will be dressed in white, black and blue hues.
The sneaker designs will have removable patches and prints with the word “NASA” plastered across them. The pull tabs on the tongue of the ‘Old Skool’ model sees the word “SHUTTLE” embellished on it, while the ‘Sk8-Hi MTE’ model features an astronaut boot-like midsole. The collection will also carry apparels that will be released alongside the sneakers.
According to shoe store Foot Locker UK’s release calendar, the collection is slated to drop on 2 November.
